PSSLAB and its members have accumulated a wealth of experience in diverse IT, security, and digital projects and businesses over the past 30 years. On this valuable journey, PSSLAB recently pioneered differentiated digital business experiences in collaboration with global industry leaders. One notable success story involves a company transitioning from legacy systems to the Google Digital Platform, implementing solutions from top to bottom, edge to backbone, and devices to services.

To accelerate this journey, PSSLAB has fostered not only individual technical evangelism but also comprehensive academic research. As an extension of these efforts, in 2024, PSSLAB introduced the digital business theme, ‘Digital Business Multiverse.’ This theme is anchored by four pillars: ‘Digital Life,’ ‘Digital Intelligence,’ ‘Digital Knowledge,’ and ‘Digital Power.’

Digital Life

As a starting point, we can envision the concept of the Digital Multiverse as a foundation for Digital Life. However, it is now essential to examine Digital Life from a digital sociological perspective.

In the near future, numerous life objects and phenomena may emerge from the Digital Life or Digital World, leading to significant changes and potential disruptions in our analog way of life. Addressing this intersection thoughtfully will be critical to navigating the transition and minimizing confusion.

Digital Intelligence

AI is everywhere, striving to replicate human intelligence to the best of its ability. Among the prominent advancements in modern AI, the neural network has emerged as a leading paradigm.

However, the question remains: is the neural network truly the optimal approach for achieving Digital Intelligence? The future may yet reveal new methods and breakthroughs beyond what we know today.

Digital Knowledge

What is Knowledge?

For thousands of years, humanity has sought to define the concept of knowledge. Yet, despite these efforts, a universally clear definition remains elusive.

One hypothesis suggests that knowledge could be seen as a form of "melted information" integrated within the human mind. If this perspective holds true, it may provide a foundation for defining Digital Knowledge in a more tangible and meaningful way.

What is the Digital Power Humanity Possesses?
PSSLAB proposes Digital LCT (Literacy, Competency, Technology) as the answer to this question.

To enable the realization of Digital Life, Digital Intelligence, and Digital Knowledge, it is crucial to focus on the concept of Digital Power. This power is built upon three key pillars: Digital Literacy, the ability to understand and engage with digital systems; Digital Competency, the skills to apply digital tools effectively; and Digital Technology, the foundation that drives innovation and transformation.
